Sendang Biru Beach, East Java

Sendang Biru Beach is one of the coastal areas in the southern part of Malang regency, East Java free of tumulous waves of the Indian Ocean due to the existence of Sempu Island, about 300 meters offshore.

The name of this beach comes from the Javanese language means blue water source, because this beach is so clear and blue colored. Sendang Biru Beach  is also famous for its fish markets in Malang and as a fishing boat landing. These boats are also rented out to tourists who want to enjoy the panoramic view of the coast around the Sendang Biru. The beach is choosing clean white sand and beautiful scenery with the color combination of diverse fishing boats and parked at the edge of the beach. These boats are usually rented out at a price of 100 thousand to 50 thousand motorboats and rowboats for. In the middle of the ocean, you can see to the bottom. There clearly visible underwater scenery. Small fish swimming between coral reef make your experience visiting Sendang Biru Beach will not be forgotten.

On the other side of the beach is now utilize 'as Fishing Port and Fish PPI debarkation center where fishermen haul them down where they are under the authority of the Department of Fisheries and Managed by KUD (Village Cooperation Unit), "Mina Jaya Pondok Dadap". 

Officially, the beach is managed by Sendang Biru State-owned company Forestay that has so far provided the beach with inns, guest house, stalls, guard houses, boats, etc. To achieve Sendang Biru Beach, visitors can take public transport can be accessed named "Mikrolet" for Tower - Turen - Sendang Biru. Sendang Biru about 70 miles south of Malang village Tambakrejo, Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang regency.
